All of the featured crochet designs remind me of cool weather and the layered styles of autumn.
Ponchos Are A Perfect Addition to Your Outfit… Trust Me
In my opinion ponchos are the perfect addition to just about any fall outfit (maybe any outfit at all!!), that’s just my opinion, but since they are back around in style I know I’m not the only one!! ๐
A poncho adds a layer of style to outfits that you need a little more color with, or just need to add some warmth. Either way ponchos in autumn are the perfect thing to add to your wardrobe.

What’s Your Favorite??
I am loving the cowl and turtleneck look this season! They are warm and wonderful on a breezy autumn day while you are apple picking (or whatever outdoor fall activity you enjoy)! There are so many beautiful patterns to choose from I could have done a post with exclusively cowl and turtleneck designs, but why limit the post when there are plenty of gorgeous fall poncho crochet patterns that do not have a cowl neck…
My obvious preference for cowl necks (which I didn’t realize was happening until after I had gathered these patterns) makes me curious about your preferences…
Do you prefer a cowl/ turtleneck……. or a hooded poncho…… or a standard neck poncho? There is no wrong answer, I just want to know what you like best to give you the patterns you prefer in the future!! Please let me know in the comments!

I hope you found something you love in this round up!
Do you have patterns for capes? I have some difficulty with over the head movement at times due to bursitis.
Virginia, Unfortunately, at this time I don’t think I have any patterns for capes. But I am already working on one I will release in the fall with a Celtic knot type design. If you would like to know exactly when it is ready, please sign up for my email list. I always let them know as soon as a new pattern is completed. ~Caitlin
The picture you have on pinterest shows 9 different ponchos. I am in search of a pattern for the very first poncho in that picture. Can you help?
Cynthia, Unfortunately some of the patterns I have pictured were recently removed from the BluPrint Platform. I have no control over this, so unfortunately if you don’t see the poncho in the post anymore it is probably one of the ones that was removed. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. If you try a google search, you may be able to find it sold somewhere else… Good Luck ๐ Caitlin
So many great alternatives. I love ponchos, I wish I had time to make a few of these. Thank you for sharing at The Really Crafty Link Party, Pinned.
These are fabulous! Pinning.
Lots of great patterns, thanks for putting this together.
I just love ponchos. I used to wear crocheted ones my grandmother would send us when we were overseas (my dad was in the Air Force). The granny square ones really bring back happy memories of childhood SOOOOO long ago โค๏ธ
Sherrie, Thank you so much for your comment! A gift from a Grandma is so special, it’s lovely you have those memories <3 I'm so glad you enjoyed this collection of ponchos ๐ I love to layer my look with ponchos and wraps!! ~Caitlin
